UNILAG student to represent Nigeria in France

A 200 level student of the Department of Mass Communication University of Lagos(UNILAG), Mr. Emmanuel Oghenetega Eferebor who emerge the winner of the 2010 Cannes Academy/Roger Hatchuel Lion academy Award will travel to France on Friday 18th June, 2010.
He will enjoy an all expense paid trip to France where he will also represent Nigeria and participate in the 2010 Roger Harcuel Academy's one week intensive course in advertising during the Cannes Lion international advertising festival in France.
Mr Eferebor in an interview with CAMPUSDAILYONLINE.COM, expressed his appreciation to God and to the lecturers at the Department of Mass Communication, UNILAG for their support.
According to him, the award was an opportunity for him to represent Nigeria on global scene. He promised to be a good ambassador of the University of Lagos and mass communication department in France.
In a related development, the Department of Mass communication will be having their academic summit on the 18th of June, at Afe Babalola Auditorium. The event which is powered by communicators for Christ fellowship, the departmental fellowship of the department will feature Chief John Momoh of Channels television and Mr. Lekan Otufodurin of The Nation newspaper among others. The theme of the summit is Media Career in the next decade, where do I belong?"
Mr. Eferebor who is also an active member of the fellowship said he will really miss the fun of the summit. He however advised other students to ensure they engage themselves in inter - campus competitions and not restrict themselves to the four walls of university of Lagos campus alone.
